You are not dealing with a call centre or a lead broker. If you were contacted about this, you were contacted by the person whose name is on this page, and that is the same person who will handle the claim and answer the phone.

That matters in this industry more than it should. Anyone can send an email about money you did not know you had. Far fewer will put their name, their company, and the statutory fee cap on a page and invite you to check.

How we work

In writing Nothing is filed on your behalf without a signed, notarised agreement naming the specific property and the exact fee.

No pressure The money is not going anywhere. In most states unclaimed property does not expire, so nobody needs to decide anything today. Anyone telling you otherwise is telling you something false.

We say no If the amount does not justify the work, or the state holding it requires licensing we do not hold, we will say so and point you at the free route.

Your money, your hands The state pays the owner directly. We never take custody of your funds.

Naming the doubt is faster than dancing around it, so here are the four we hear most.

Is this a scam?

Reasonable question. A scam asks you for money, a fee, or your bank details up front. We ask for none of those, and we have told you on this site that you can claim the money free without us. Check the company, call the number, then decide.

Why would we not know about our own money?

Because the record is almost never under the name you use today. It sits under a prior address, a former entity, or a company you acquired. Nobody at your business has a reason to search those, and the state has no way to find you.

Do I have to decide now?

No, and be suspicious of anyone who says otherwise. In most states unclaimed property does not expire, so the money is not going anywhere. Urgency in this industry is a sales tactic, not a fact.

What do you actually do that I cannot?

For one account in your own name, honestly not much — go direct. It gets harder across several states at once, under former entity names, against an estate, or when a state asks you to document a transaction from fifteen years ago. That is the work.
